A handmade herbal soap inspired by the tea estates and winding roads of Sri Lanka’s hill country, crafted with black tea, ginger, clove, nutmeg and cedarwood.

Inspired by Sri Lanka’s Tea Country

Ceylon tea and the hill-country estates where it is grown are an important part of Sri Lanka’s identity.

This soap brings together several ingredients that create a layered fragrance:

• Black tea contributes a dry, slightly tannic note
• Ginger brings fresh warmth
• Clove adds a deeper spicy character
• Nutmeg provides a softer spice underneath
• Cedarwood grounds the fragrance with a dry, woody finish

Together, they create a warm and balanced scent rather than an overly sweet fragrance.

Bentonite & Red Clay

Two types of clay are incorporated into the soap.

Bentonite clay is known for its absorbent properties and helps draw in excess surface oil during washing, making the bar a practical choice for skin that tends to become shiny in warm or humid conditions.

Red clay contributes to the soap’s naturally warm, earthy colour and distinctive appearance.

Coconut Oil-Based Formula

Coconut oil forms the foundation of the recipe, following the long tradition of coconut-based soap making in Sri Lanka.

It helps create a rich lather and thorough cleansing experience.

Cocoa butter and castor oil are added to complement the coconut oil, helping produce a creamier lather and a smoother feel after rinsing.

67% Total Fatty Matter

The bar is made with a Total Fatty Matter (TFM) of 67%.

TFM refers to the proportion of fatty material derived from oils and fats in the soap. A 67% TFM helps give the bar a substantial feel, good lather and durable performance during regular use.

Tested for Heavy Metals

The soap has been tested for heavy metals, adding an additional level of product quality assurance.

The formula also contains no synthetic detergents or fillers.

Handmade in Sri Lanka

Every bar is made by hand.

Because of this process, slight variations in colour, shape, surface and finish are natural. These small differences are part of the character of a genuinely handmade product.

Reusable Plastic-Free Packaging

Each bar is packed in a reusable dark olive cotton drawstring pouch instead of plastic film.
