Ceylon Cinnamon Handmade Soap

A handmade soap bar inspired by one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated natural treasures — Ceylon cinnamon.

Crafted in Sri Lanka using pure vegetable oils, Ceylon cinnamon powder and cinnamon leaf oil, this bar combines a warm natural aroma with a smooth, satisfying lather.

Cinnamon has been closely linked with Sri Lanka for centuries. True Ceylon cinnamon originated on the island and became one of its most important historic exports, valued around the world for its distinctive quality.

In this soap, cinnamon is used in two forms. Ground Ceylon cinnamon powder gives the bar its naturally warm colour and fine speckled appearance, while cinnamon leaf oil provides its distinctive fragrance.

Unlike the sweet, sharp aroma commonly associated with cinnamon bark or cinnamon sticks, cinnamon leaf oil has a warmer, softer scent with a gentle clove-like character. After washing, the fragrance remains lightly on the skin without feeling overpowering.

Six Vegetable Oils

The soap base is made with a blend of six vegetable oils, each contributing to the character of the finished bar:

• Coconut oil helps create the lather
• Olive oil adds softness
• Sunflower oil contributes to a gentle feel
• Sesame oil adds body to the bar
• Castor oil supports the richness of the lather
• Palm oil helps create a firm, long-lasting soap bar

Smooth Kaolin Clay Lather

Kaolin clay is added to the batch to give the lather a smooth, slightly silky texture, making the soap pleasant to use for everyday washing.

Handmade in Sri Lanka

Every bar is made by hand and individually cut. Because of this traditional process, the shape, surface and top edge may vary slightly from one bar to another. These small variations are part of the character of a genuinely handmade product.

The recipe is entirely plant based and contains no animal ingredients.
