A handmade herbal soap bar inspired by the lush wet forests of Sri Lanka, crafted with vetiver, black tea and frankincense.

This 120 g bar has a deep, earthy fragrance rather than a sweet one, with layers of root, tea, wood and resin that create a character reminiscent of a forest floor after rainfall.

Vetiver, Black Tea & Frankincense

Three distinctive ingredients shape the fragrance of this bar:

• Vetiver provides a deep, earthy root note

Bentonite Clay

Bentonite clay is worked throughout the soap.

Its naturally absorbent properties help draw in excess surface oil during washing, making the bar especially suitable for skin that tends to become shiny in warm or humid weather.

Coconut Oil-Based Formula

Coconut oil forms the foundation of the recipe, following the long tradition of coconut-based soap making in Sri Lanka.

It helps create a rich lather and thorough cleansing experience.

Cocoa butter and castor oil are added to complement the coconut oil, helping create a creamier lather and a smoother feel after rinsing.

67% Total Fatty Matter

The soap is made with a Total Fatty Matter (TFM) of 67%.

TFM refers to the proportion of fatty material derived from oils and fats in the finished soap. A 67% TFM gives the bar a substantial character, good lather and durable performance during regular use.

Tested for Heavy Metals

The soap has been tested for heavy metals, providing an additional level of product quality assurance.

The recipe also contains no synthetic detergents or fillers.

Handmade in Sri Lanka

Each bar is made by hand.

Because of the handmade process, slight variations in colour, shape, surface and finish are natural. These differences are part of the character of a genuinely handmade product and mean that no two bars are exactly alike.

Each soap bar is packed in a reusable olive-green cotton drawstring pouch instead of plastic film.
